Accessibility statement
Section 508 compliance is a core part of Ad Hoc’s strategy that expresses our responsibility in designing products and services that do not create or contribute barriers to entry.
We’re committed to ensuring digital access, which includes:
- Fostering collaborative culture and workspaces.
- Providing a considerate approach to hiring and onboarding people of backgrounds and needs
- Continually improving external and internal facing websites to meet and exceed Worldwide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
Measures to support accessibility
We:
- Include accessibility compliance throughout our internal policies and workplace tools.
- Integrate accessibility compliance practices into our digital service approach.
- Hire and cultivate a team of accessibility specialists to meet these needs.
Website conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Ad Hoc’s website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Hiring
Ad Hoc believes that hiring skilled professionals with a range of abilities empowers our team to make access to government more efficient and easy to use. As such, we strongly encourage people of all abilities to apply to our open positions.
Our recruitment team routinely provides applicants with assistive technology, captioned video interviews, and many other tools/techniques to ensure access to an informative, engaging, and positive interview experience.
Please contact recruiting@adhocteam.us to let us know how we can best support your interviewing experience. Our trained staff looks forward to hearing from you.
