Paul Smith
Paul Smith is a software engineer who has been professionally developing applications and systems for more than two decades. He was a co-founder of EveryBlock, a pioneering hyperlocal news startup. He worked on the 2012 re-election campaign of President Obama as the deputy director of technology at the DNC. Paul was a leader of the team that fixed HealthCare.gov after its troubled launch in 2013. As a co-founder and board member, Paul is part of the overall strategy team of the company. In his role as chief technologist, Paul explores new technology and how it can best be applied to Ad Hoc’s mission and the challenges of its customers.
