CMS launches Blue Button 2.0 at HIMSS18
Today, Administrator Seema Verma of the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services announced the launch of Blue Button 2.0. Ad Hoc is working on this project with our prime contractor partner Fearless Tech.
See our Twitter account for an incomplete history of Blue Button movement, which is a unique amalgam of open government data, consumer-led health, and government technology systems that talk to each other.
You can read the complete text of the Administrator’s remarks in her HIMSS keynote. We’re excited to be taking part in this important project. Join us— you can see updated documentation from CMS, join the developer sandbox, and use open source Blue Button code.
